Thank you for sharing on Brenda's blog (Cozy Little House). I won't go into details, because don't want to sound like I am complaining, but I too am going through many of the same things you are. Except my parents passed away 9 years ago. Thank you for being real. I have hard time reading blogs sometimes feeling like everyone has a "good" life except me. I am a quilter too! I clicked over from Brenda's blog, as well, and am your newest follower. I love your Christmas quilt! My mom is a wonderful quilt designer/piecer/etc. I'm blessed to have some very old pieces from my ancestors, as well as some beautiful new ones. I just love quilts. They are so cozy and comforting.
